● Two people a year
The people this exists for almost never apply. They have spent a career being the one who is fine, and the form asks them to write down that they are not. Somebody who knows them will write it more honestly than they would.
Not a favour and not an intervention. If somebody you know finished the thing they were for, and has not found the next one, tell me who they are.
Before you write anything
You are about to describe somebody who has not asked to be described. So, plainly, what happens to what you write:
— It is never published. There is no public page for a nomination and no way to read one without my key.
— The person you name is never shown what you wrote, and never told who wrote it. If they are approached at all, it is on its own terms.
— Nothing about it reaches the public feed this site publishes for everything else.
— Write about what they have done and what seems to have ended. Do not diagnose them. You are not their doctor and neither am I.
