We will make work optional.
The industry is teaching AI to help people work, and every copilot still hands the job back to a human. God Complex is building the other half: an operating system, and a consumer drive that carries it, where autonomous agents find an opportunity, charter a business, build it, operate it and route the earnings to the owner. The owner never writes an instruction.
The honest half. Payment rails are built and tested but held behind a dormant flag until reliability clears the gate. No product is for sale and no owner has been onboarded. The next gate is first verified dollar earned by an autonomous agent, with the run log published in full.
The nine stages
- Owner plugs in — device authenticates, provisions an isolated agent estate
- OS boots — directors wake with memory intact
- Agents research — web-scale scan across GitHub, arXiv, SEC, OpenAlex
- Tournament — 25 ideas to 8 to 3 to 1, risk-scored at escalating depth
- Board votes — five directors debate with staked positions, one charter signed
- Build — site, storefront, payments, copy, pricing, infrastructure deployed
- Operate — acquisition, support, iteration, kill-or-scale calls
- Revenue — verified receipts only, split and paid out
- Learn — outcomes attributed back to the decisions that caused them
The machine
HERMES — chief operating agent, four-tier, ratchet-only autonomy.
The plan
| 1. BUILD | The AgentOS — research, decide, build, operate, end to end. here now |
|---|---|
| 2. PROVE | The OS runs itself and earns. Nobody can buy before this gate. |
| 3. REPLICATE | Duplicate, stress-test, harden across thousands of copies. |
| 4. RELEASE | The world plugs in. Work becomes optional. |
